In 1934, the Augusta National Golf Club decided to start an annual tournament with the intent on bringing the best golfers in the world together. This event that was initially named simply the ‘Annual Invitation Tournament’ would eventually be known as ‘The Masters’ This beautifully framed piece shows a print of the cover of the very first tournament program from 1934 and what is believed to be the very first overhead image of Augusta National Golf Club taken just a week before the start of the first tournament. This is truly a conversation starter and one that every fan of The Masters should have in their collection. Item will be available for pick up at Great Prospects offices or shipping can be arranged at the winner’s expense
